Since inception as an interest group, the Spirited Pearls of Chi Sigma Omega Chapter have worked diligently to implement the programs of our internationally renowned organization. Under the leadership of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated current International President, Dr. Glenda Glover and guidance of our chapter president, Wendy Swims, the chapter has blazed new trails on the journey of supreme service to our local community through the Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service Initiatives.
By building on the collective strength of the past and incorporating our collective creative energy for the future, our efforts to execute the five targets of this administration continue to guide us in our pursuit of building a bright legacy through
Target 1:HBCU 4 Life: A Call to Action;
Target 2:Women’s Healthcare and Wellness;
Target 3:Building Your Economic Legacy;
Target 4:The Arts!;
Target 5:Global Impact.
Mentoring the next generation of leaders remains a cornerstone of CSO service outreach. To that end, CSO is thrilled to offer two mentoring programs for our local youth- T-Rose (targeting freshmen & sophomores) and #CAP or College Admissions Process (targeting juniors & seniors) to assist families with navigating the rigors of high school preparation through monthly enrichment activities.
We invite our community partners and service-minded friends to join us in our continued effort in delivery of quality programs under the international targets, international partnerships and international impact days. See our events page for current activities! Additionally, please note the dates from our annual calendar for possible joint planning efforts. Let's join together locally and continue to build on our global legacy of Service to All Mankind!
