Implementation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated International Program ASCEND℠:

ASCEND℠our FREE signature youth enrichment program is designed to motivate, engage, and assist high school girls and boys in reaching their maximum potential in their journey to college or vocational employment.

ASCEND℠ focuses on the following key areas:
Achievement
Self-Awareness
Communication
Engagement
Networking
Developmental Skills

Students in the ASCEND℠ program have an opportunity to receive academic enrichment and life skills training to support their journey to college or vocational employment. Students spend a minimum of 3 hours per month participating in ASCEND activities.
